AUTO PHOTO is dedicated to sharing the best automotive photography from around the world, whilst creating new opportunities and collaborations, supporting photographers, and connecting creative communities.
Since launching in 2022, we’ve created a wide range of opportunities for automotive photographers o all backgrounds and experience. Through our Awards, entrants have reached broader audiences, secured motorsport accreditation, gained paid commissions, and seen their work published in magazines such as Chicane, Influx, Revolution and more.
Our exhibitions, showcasing the Top 100 and category award winners, have appeared in many locations, including Ace Café London, Caffeine & Machine, Cambridge University, Great Northern Classics, Motorsport UK HQ at Bicester Heritage and Silverstone Festival.
The Top 100 images are published in our collectable AUTO PHOTO photobook series. Produced by Shutter Hub Editions, these books, are stocked in stores including Caffeine & Machine, Shreeji London and Stills (as well as online here) and preserved in notable archives including the British Library and Cambridge University.
In 2025, AUTO PHOTO reached an audience of 2.7 million people through its international partners and engaged, growing global community.
Alongside the Awards, books and exhibitions, we collaborate with iconic automotive brands and locations, creating bespoke events and opportunities for the automotive photography community. These events have included a private tour of Bicester Heritage, a photography masterclass with FIA Girls on Track and BTCC, and professional portfolio reviews at Motorsport UK HQ.
The AUTO PHOTO Awards, initially judged by the Duke of Richmond (Goodwood) and Karen Harvey MBE (AUTO PHOTO and Shutter Hub), are now selected by an extended panel of expert judges from the automotive and photography industries.
