THE AUTO PHOTO TOP 100

100 GLOBAL WINNERS

Showcasing the best automotive photography from around the world.

The TOP 100 images will be printed in the annual AUTO PHOTO photobook, published by Shutter Hub Editions.

AUTO PHOTO books are housed in international archives and collections, including the British Library, Cambridge University, and Motorsport UK HQ, and are available in selected stockists around the world.

Each edition of the AUTO PHOTO book is not only a collection of the best automotive photography, it’s also a powerful promotional tool – a portfolio of images sent to the people who buy and commission photography across the automotive and creative industries.

Reaching over 2.7 million people in 2025, AUTO PHOTO Awards are designed to support photographers and create opportunities for everyone. Each winning photographer also receives a digital certificate and promo on social media.

Our Judges are the best in the industry. Get your work in front of them, and get recognised with one of their additional awards too.

NO CATEGORIES – JUST CREATIVITY

Photographic themes – while we’ve moved away from asking photographers to submit to specific categories, we’d still love to see these themes considered. Take them as prompts, or inspiration if you need it. We want to see automotive photography in all it’s glory!

Cars as Art – There’s beauty in the build. From abstract images and macro details to super sleek lighting and cars on the street, this is the place to take your creativity to the max.

Motorsport – On track or off road, from circuit racing to rally cross, endurance to sprint, and drag to drift, we want to see Motorsport in all its glory.

Scenes and Styling – Show us the show cars, the super-charged super cars, the priceless classics, the drift beasts, the slammed and stanced, the ‘built not bought’ cars, and everything in between.

Innovation – The world is changing, where do we go from here? It’s not all about EVs (but show us them too!), we want to see the integration of sustainable technologies, pioneering engine development, tuning and performance, resto-mods, hybrids and ICEs too!

Auto Portrait – This is the place to big-up the individuals in the automotive scene. Whether through a candid portrait or a set-up shoot, show us the people behind the wheel, in the crowds, and under the hood.
