We’re sharing some of the fantastic images taken by our photographers at the AUTO PHOTO Photography Masterclass with Girls on Track UK, featuring Excelr8 Motorsport, BTCC and Mini Challenge at Thruxton.

12 members of the Girls on Track UK community were awarded a place on the exclusive event and came from across the UK, as far afield as Cornwall, Manchester, and Norfolk for a day of learning, advice and guidance with industry experts, behind the scenes access to BTCC garages and cars, and the opportunity to build their automotive photography portfolio.

The masterclass was led by AUTO PHOTO’s Karen Harvey with Jenny Fletcher from Girls on Track UK, ITV presenter Louise Goodman popped by to share some advice, acclaimed motorsport official Carol Glenn took the group trackside, and we were given special access to the Exceler8 Motorsport garage, spending time meeting Tom Ingram’s team and photographing his car.

Based on her image taken on the day, Charlotte Lake was awarded a commission to photograph at Girls on Track UK’s Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 event focusing on women in engineering.
